Nuevo Tortuguero

The Republic of Nuevo Tortuguero, commonly referred to as Nuevo Tortuguero, is a presidential republic located in Auwera. The country is split into twelve provinces. All the provinces elect representatives to the Asamblea Legislativa Nacional (National Legislative Assembly), which is comprised of 63 representatives total. The Republic of Nuevo Tortuguero was founded the 1st of June, 1953, following the Tortugueroan Civil War (1951-1953). The first head of state was Axel González Quesada. The current head of state is Rafael Ángel Feoli Castro.
