On the Establishment of a Committee for a Koniechian Treaty

Considering: the lack of a recent treaty protecting the Koniechian continent, its ecosystems, wildlife and sanctity;

Recognising: that Koniechia is the last continent preserved from human activity and its morbid consequences and is a precious jewel;

Accepting: that some human activity such as scientific research is important to be preserved in Koniechia.

The FNS declares

- The establishment of a Committee of its Member States for the writing of a treaty putting strict limits on human activity in Koniechia and its surrounding waters

- The committee shall be made of all willing members bordering the Koniechian Corridor or Northernmost Serene Ocean with Khaldea and Yuktobania as observer

- The treaty will have for purpose to protect the Koniechian ecosystem and to ensure that all nations may benefit from the fruits of research in those areas

- The treaty will forbid any activity of resource extraction and tourism that would damage the Koniechian ecosystem

- The treaty will forbid military application on the Koniechian continent

- The treaty will forbid any country from claiming any land on the Koniechia landmass and surrounding arctic islands not already inhabited or claimed. It will detail the consequences for any country breaking this rule

- Any treaty not respecting the previous clauses will be declared null and void

- The treaty will need to be voted and approved by the FNS Assembly and SC as per the current voting rules
