Motion over the recognition of the Kingdom of Zvoda

Knowing that:

The Kingdom of Zvoda is the only state representing the Zvodian people in the international community.

Knowing that:

Its government was democratically elected—with the exception of the king, constituting a constitutional monarchy—and is, therefore, a result of the popular will of the Zvodians.

Affirming that:

Not granting a state to the Zvodian people is to accept that they remain without a state, and thus to validate the exploitation and occupation of their lands by foreign powers.

Understanding that:

The current government in Zvoda never materialised in the stages prior to the revoluti

on. Therefore, any argument that 'it plunged them into anarchic rebellion' is simply fallacious, since those responsible for the anarchist uprising were executed by it.

And finally, ensuring that:

The Kingdom of Zvoda meets all the conditions of a functioning state, namely: permanent population, defined territory, effective government, effective sovereignty, foreign relations and a monopoly on the use of force.

We convincingly request:

The recognition of the Kingdom of Zvoda as a state by this body and, consequently, by the entire international community. This would allow the country to trade goods and manage its relations with states with which it has not yet been able to do so, contributing to its well-being and growth and, ultimately, to that of the Zvodian people.
